After years of not being able to enjoy sports because of glasses, Jermey knew it was time for a change.
Jermey: I went to Florida two years ago and I like to scuba dive. Being able to go underwater without any type of vision was not something that made me very comfortable, because I didn't know if these sharks were going to come up and get me. I wanted to be able to actually see the sea life better.
The day I came up here for my free consultation, they told me I couldn't do LASIK because my cornea was too thin. Rachel, one of the staff members, had actually brought up ICL, a procedure that I would be a candidate for. She kind of talked me, told me about it, what the procedure is. I had, instantly, right then and there, decided I want to do this and set up the appointment to get it done right there on the spot that day.
There was no pain at all. I felt Dr. Luke kind of pressing on my eye and doing stuff like that. Other than that, there was no pain, no discomfort. Got to sit in a chair and have blankets on me.
I can actually ride my dirt bike and wear my helmet comfortably. You still have to worry about dirt, but I don't have to worry about it bothering my vision. Just being able to see clearly and more crisp is just life-changing for me.
I think you should get it done, one, it helps your vision. Makes your vision a million times better.
The procedure, whether you have LASIK or ICL, it's painless, you feel nothing. I've seen instantly better after my procedure. It's just a great opportunity to being able to see life and everything around you crisper. It's just an all-around great experience and I think you should do it.
The number one thing we hear from our patients is that they wish they would have had vision correction sooner.
So the question for you is… why wait any longer?
