I first needed to get glasses I think I was in second grade. I was eight. They kept falling off my face. I didn't like them very much. In fifth grade they put me in contacts, hard contacts. It was not fun. Over the years, my vision gradually got worse and worse. My most recent glasses prescription was from my junior year of high school. I didn't think my vision was as bad as it was. I thought I was still a candidate for LASIK. They told me ICL. Initially I was not too thrilled about it. The staff had answered all my questions. Doctor Luke was super nice and really calming. I wasn't really nervous going into it just because I trusted the physician. My vision was 20/2200. I couldn't see anything unless it was 2 inches in front of my face. It's been pretty awesome not needing to rely on glasses or contacts to function day to day.
