When LASIK Wasn't an Option for Holly, ICL Was

I remember distinctly when I realized I need a glasses. I was in 4th grade. We would do times table tests. My teacher up note cards at the front of the classroom. I had to ask one of my peers, "What did the card say?" I got in trouble because she thought I was asking the answer. She took me out in the hall and she shook me and she's like, "Maybe you need glasses." I told my grandmother about it. My grandma was like, "Well, maybe you do need glasses."

I wanted to see whether or not I was a candidate for LASIK. I actually went to more than one place to get a consultation and get different opinions. I came to ClearSight. They educated me well on what ICL was. They told me the differences between that and the other procedures that were available and why it was best for me. I went home and did my research on ICL. I decided that it was a good idea.

They're very personal with you. They don't make you feel like you're just another patient. It didn't take long. It didn't hurt. It was just different. After the surgery I was still a little foggy but the next day, I was like, "Wow." There was stuff in my city and my neighborhood that I hadn't ever been able to see across the fields and the farms. I didn't realize, "Oh, there's houses over there." It was pretty cool.

“I just wish I had done it sooner!”

The number one thing we hear from our patients is that they wish they would have had vision correction sooner.

So the question for you is… why wait any longer?
